Episode 109 is the forty-fourth episode of the second season of Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?.

Summary[]

Dr. Belljar steals the first music box from Switzerland in the 1790s.

At the time of the crime, Kevin and the time pilots meet Thomas Edison, who directs them to Dr. Belljar in the 1870s, when he invented the phonograph. There, they play Global Pursuit.

Afterwards, Kevin's mother sneaks into his room and gives him clues about magnetic tape recording in Bing Crosby's radio show. These clues direct him and the time pilots to the year 1947, where Dr. Belljar sabotages the Chronoskimmer.

Following a Data Boost, Dr. Belljar taunts the time pilots about DVD's, which leads them to Japan in the year 1996, where they take the music box.

William captures Dr. Belljar, but Carmen escapes because of William's slow speed missing the only 2 questions at the 4th and 5th time portals.
