Carmen Sandiego Wiki

Episode 56 is the fifty-sixth episode of the first season of Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?. It was taped on July 24, 1996, and first aired on December 23, 1996.

Sir Vile steals the high-heeled shoes of King Louis XIV from France in the year 1660.

After a Data Boost at the time of the crime, Kevin and the Time Pilots tap into a report from Sir Vile to Carmen. That report produced clues directing them to the 1860s when a shoemaker strike occurred in Lynn, Massachusetts, but Sir Vile zaps their 'fact fuel'.

After another Data Boost, Kevin and the pilots meet Fred Dinglehopper, who gives clues directing them to 1923, when, during Prohibition, NBA player Chuck Taylor was hired by Converse, the company that named a pair of shoes after him, called Chuck Taylor All-Stars.

After Global Pursuit in the 1920s and getting clues from Omniscia, the pilots follow Sir Vile to The Philippines in 1986 and retrieve the King Louis XIV's high-heeled shoes.

Laura captures Sir Vile and Carmen with 14 seconds to spare.
