Episode 32 is the thirty-second episode of the first season of Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?

Summary[]

Medeva steals the voices of the Griots from Africa in the 1300s.

After a Data Boost at the scene of the crime, Medeva taunts the time pilots about Zora Neale Hurston's Mules and Men, which was first published in the 1930s. However, the time pilots end up a decade earlier, where they play Global Pursuit through the 1920s.

Afterwards, the time pilots get a message from the Elephant Guy, who is running through 1965, when playwright LeRoi Jones founded the Black Arts Repertory Theater. There, Medeva burns their 'fact fuel.'

Following another Data Boost, the time pilots meet up with a rapper, whose song about Jimmy Carter leads them to 1979, where they recapture the voices of the griots and return them to 14th-century Africa.

Anthony captures Medeva, but Carmen escapes after Anthony missed four questions in a row and time ran out after he missed the fifth question.
