Germany is a nation in north central Europe. Its capital is Berlin, and it is bordered by Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Germany is a country with a rich history, as the birthplace of the Protestant Reformation. However, it was on the losing side of two world wars, and Adolph Hitler's rule of this country between 1933 and 1945 darkened its reputation for a long time. After World War II, Germany was split in two, with the Berlin Wall being built in 1961 to symbolize that. The Wall, however, was torn down in 1989, symbolizing that Germany was reunified.

Germany was featured in several episodes of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, including:

  • Ripping Off the Rock: dachshunds, Schnauzers, and Dobermann dogs came from this country.
  • In The Autobahn Con, Top Grunge steals Germany's Autobahn system.
  • Bathing Booty: kindergarten and education system involving apprenticeships
  • Heavy Metal Meddler: region called Hesse and Brothers Grimm
  • About Face: complicated school system
    • During the Lightning Round, Greg Lee asks questions about Whitsun, seeing-eye dogs, and Eiswein.
  • 15 Minutes of Infamy: Danube River, Rhine River, and Main River
  • In Fall of the House of Ushers, the Gumshoes look for clues in three trash cans. These clues reveal that a major city in Germany is Cologne, the official currency (before the introduction of the euro) is the Deutsche mark, and Johann Sebastian Bach was a Germany celebrity.
  • Totem Bites Back: nanotechnology
