The Egyptian Boatman is a fictional character from Queen Hatshepsut's time in Carmen Sandiego's Great Chase Through Time. He is the first character with whom the player interacts in the game.

The boatman stands on his trusty boat on banks of the Nile River. The player assists him by carrying his mummification supplies onto his boat. After the player picks up one of his spare torches, the boatman is ready to ferry the players to Hatshepsut's temple.
