In Season 2, Episode 1, Jacqueline Hyde intrudes the Chronoskimmer and talks to the Time Pilots about Hillary Clinton and the book she recently published. Since Jacqueline Hyde is in 1996, the Time Pilots figure out that the book is titled It Takes a Village.

In Season 2, Episode 40, the Time Pilots collide with the Chronoskimmer from three days into the future. Once our Kevin makes contact with Future!Kevin, the Time Pilots learn about the AIDS Memorial Quilt. These clues lead the Time Pilots to Washington DC in the year 1996.

In Season 2, Episode 44, Dr. Belljar informs the Time Pilots of a very recent development: the DVD. His clues about DVDs lead the Time Pilots to Japan in 1996.
