In Episode 2, Medeva breaks into the Chronoskimmer's frequency and talks about the Goosebumps book series. These clues lead the Time Pilots to conclude that Goosebumps are written by R. L. Stine.

In Episode 25, Jacqueline Hyde talks about the McDonald's that was recently opened in Beijing, where most people had never even seen or tasted a hamburger up until that time.

In Season 2, Episode 7, Jacqueline Hyde again breaks into the Chronoskimmer's frequency to tell the Time Pilots about Ross Perot's presidential campaign in 1992.

In Season 2, Episode 10, the Time Pilots overhear a conversation between Buggs Zapper and Carmen Sandiego over NAFTA, which was signed during the time of Carlos Salinas de Gortari.
