The 1950s is the sixth decade of the 20th century. Occurring after World War II, this decade is often considered to have been a more prosperous time than the two decades before then. Indeed, it was a decade dominated by pop culture centering around rock-and-roll music, poodle skirts, wing-tipped cars, drive-in diners, greasers, the rise of television, cowboys, and, from 1957 onward, outer space.

Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?[]

In Episode 25, Millennia recalls her time as a carhop at a drive-in restaurant. She even recalls serving food to such high-profile patrons as President Eisenhower and his grumpy Gus of a VP Nixon. Millennia's clues lead the Time Pilots to the 1950s.

In Episode 64, the Time Pilots meet a tailor who tries to make an Eisenhower jacket for Kevin, only to leave him in a T-shirt and boxer shorts. From the tailor's clues, the Time Pilots learn that their next destination is the 1950s, specifically the mid-1950s, about 10 years after World War II ended.
