Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?[]

In Episode 41, Dr. Belljar brags to the Time Pilots that he's on a passenger ship on an ocean where a telegraphic line is being strung up from Newfoundland to Ireland. His clues lead the Time Pilots to the Atlantic Ocean in the year 1866.

In Season 2, Episode 3, the Time Pilots meet a black apprentice named Samuel. Samuel exhaustedly explains to them that the South has instituted Black Codes, including his home state of Mississippi. These Black Codes stipulate that young black men must serve as apprentices to white men, sometimes even their former masters. His clues lead the Time Pilots to the year 1866.
