This wiki welcomes all factual information about the elusive red thief known as Carmen Sandiego, it is up to users to make sure all information provided is true and has proof.
Pages
All pages here contain truthful and factual information regarding all Carmen Sandiego media. It is up to you, Agents, to provide proof for other information you find that may not be well known. If you are unsure on how articles should be formatted, please see Manual of Style for better understanding.
Image policy
To make it easier of particular images to be found, please name pictures with a specific detail. Please be advised that the Administrators have the right to rename them should they believe it is deserved.
Social
Here on the Carmen Sandiego wiki, you are allowed to chat and civilize with other members so long as you follow the rules:
- Be nice to each other and maintain civility.
- Refrain from profanity.
- No personal attacks anywhere.
Blogs
As above, users here are welcome to socialize with others by expressing themselves to the community in the blog section. Normal rules however do not apply but it is advised you still act civilised. The blogs are also good places where you can post things such as:
- Fan fiction
- Op-eds
- Pages that post questions to elicit responses
- Reviews, suggestions, or recommendations
Discussions
The discussions feature on Fandom allows members to talk about their interests and about the site in general.
Discord
As Discord is a separate platform from the wiki, some rules may not apply there. However, it is still recommended users respect what rules are in place in the Discord.
Warnings
Warnings will be given to users for minor infractions such as vandalism. Issues such as trolling and spam will not be tolerated and will eventually move from a warning to a block.
Blocking Policy
When a user is blocked, it revokes their right to prevent a user from editing any pages on the wiki. Blocks can be given to users by Administrators should the user commit more than a minor offence. Should the blocked user apologize and agree to stop vandalizing the wiki, it is possible that it can be lifted and the user can continue editing the wiki if they agree to only edit truthful and factual information. However, this is not always the case and many users will be remained blocked if their actions are unforgiveable.
Grounds for blocking
- Vandalism: a blatant bad-faith edit/contribution in which the intent is to disrupt the site.
- Spam, including posting unsolicited links to irrelevant sites.
- Copyright violations.
- Violation of image policy.
- Consistently removing edits by Admins/Bureaucrats/Sysop.
- Non-canonical edits that condone racism, stereotyping, bodyshaming, homophobia, or bigotry.
Deletion
A page can be deleted if it is tagged with {{Delete}}. If users do not wish to use the delete template for their own reasons, they can contact Administrators.
Templates
If users wish to add to a page but are unsure if their addition is not up to standards or if they are unsure if it fits that page, they can always consult an Administrator and there, they can decide whether or not that information should be added.
Quality
As this wiki serves as a fan site, all pages should be done in high standards. It is advised that users proofread and spellcheck their contributions so do not feel bad if your addition is either removed or simple reworded. This wiki welcomes all users but it is also advised that the American terms are used but it is not an offence if non-American terms are used on the pages.
